Sodl & Ingram, PLLC Launches in Downtown
Law firm will focus on serving clients in commercial real estate and development
July 25, 2019 — Jacksonville, Fla. — Real estate attorneys Andrew M. Sodl and Thomas O. Ingram have partnered to launch Sodl & Ingram, PLLC, a law firm that serves clients in all aspects of commercial real estate, investment, financing and development.
The firm opened its office in the Blackstone Building, located at 233 E. Bay Street in Downtown Jacksonville, on July 12, 2019.
“This new venture
affords both of us the flexibility to partner directly with clients and develop
effective strategies to address their unique legal challenges,” said Sodl.
Prior to launching their own firm, Sodl and Ingram worked together at an AmLaw 100 law firm and, before that, with a real estate boutique firm. The new firm allows both attorneys to leverage their experience to effectively and efficiently engage multiple stakeholders, including government officials and the public.
“The government plays a significant role in real estate development. We help our clients take the expectations of government entities into account,” said Ingram.
Sodl’s practice focuses primarily on commercial real estate, banking and corporate transactions. He represents investors, developers, financial institutions, private equity firms and companies in all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing and development. Additionally, he advises institutional and private lenders in secured lending, distressed credit workouts and enforcement. Several businesses trust Sodl as their out-of-house general counsel for legal support on matters including business formation, corporate governance, and general commercial contracts. Prior to forming Sodl & Ingram, he was a partner at Akerman LLP in its Jacksonville, Florida office.
Ingram has practiced law in Jacksonville since 1999, focusing on real estate development in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida. His areas of expertise include land use and zoning, commercial development, government relations and environmental law. He is a past District Council Chair of Urban Land Institute – North Florida and is active in the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA)’s Government Affairs committee. Ingram graduated with high honors from The Florida State University College of Law in 1998. He is licensed to practice in Florida.
